About TechGames
We believe the smartest founders, operators, and investors play games.
TechGames is the global network built around that belief.
We’ve brought together 10,000+ startup builders from Sequoia and a16z backed companies, exited startups, and category defining teams, running high signal games where trust forms fast.
Why this role exists
Great rooms don’t fill themselves. The quality of each TechGames event depends on who shows up. Scouts and Curators are the people who make sure the right founders, operators, and investors are in the room and that the room dynamics stay sharp.
What you’ll do + expected commitment
- Work closely with the Chapter Host to help fill the room for each upcoming game in your city.
- Source and invite high signal founders, operators, and investors through your networks (accelerators, funds, universities, WhatsApp groups, Discord, direct outreach, etc).
- Help curate the guest list and shape room dynamics with the Chapter Host.
- Post about upcoming games in relevant channels to drive attendance.
- Support light logistics around the event (RSVPs, reminders, guest follow-ups).
- Time commitment: ~2–4 hours per week on average (varies around events).
- This role is a mix of remote and in person work.
Who this is for
This is for people embedded in strong startup networks, accelerators, universities, or funds who enjoy finding sharp people, connecting dots, and helping build rooms with real signal.
